Our website opens with the trailer appearing on the screen, just like it does on the Call Me By Your Name website. This allows a more engaging experience for the viewer and draws them, and also encourages them to watch the film.
Our website then has a rolling background between different short clips of the film, with the title in the set font in the middle of all of the shots. At the top there is the menu bar which is in the same font as the rest of the page, which was also used for the credits at the bottom of our poster. We put the menu bar in this font as it makes the website look more professional and easier to read. The menu bar includes about the film, the cast, a gallery, watch the trailer, screenings and details of how to contact us.
The simple layout is effective as it is user friendly and the use of white and red are reflective of the genre and colour pallet used in the rest of the film. This is especially prominent on the gallery page as the red of Oli's coat matches with the graffiti and adds brightness to the social realism
