ROUGH CUTS

These rough cuts that I put together highlight the areas where we encountered problems and parts of footage which we decided was unsuccessful or didn't fit with the plot line. Examples of this include:

When filming in the skate-park, a skateboarder in the background fell over, ruining the aesthetic of the shot 

The actors kept on looking into the camera lens, breaking the fourth wall which isn't what we wanted

It rained on nearly of our planned shooting days, meaning that it was hard to keep the equipment and actors dry, but did also create a nice aesthetic certain scenes, but it did make the skate park slippery 

We tried to film outside of the car with Oli crying in the passenger seat, but it wasn't effective as it was obvious that the car was stationary due to shadows, as well as Molly and Oli's acting didn't look good on screen. It was also not possible to get the right angle outside of the car without specialist equipment

When filming the tire moving off from the car we realized that it wasn't possible without ruining my tires to get smoke and the sound, and also we had to change the shot as we realized my car was front wheel drive

Skateboarding was an essential part of the narrative, however the boys found the skateboarding hard as the had little experience and this is something which we didn't take into account
