FONTS

This photo above shows our original choice in font for our trailer, and we had been set on having the colour white as this made the writing stand out more against the backdrops in the trailer, and also gives a brighter feel. We also choose this font originally because of the way how it looks slightly scruffy and hand-written, reflecting on how this is a social-realism piece, as social realism is defined as 'the realistic depiction in art of contemporary life'.
However on reflection we felt this font was too curly and made the appearance of the film quiet feminine which may close our target audience, so we changed it to what is showed in the picture below.

We got inspiration for our choice of font from the film 'Call Me By Your Name' as it explores similar romantic themes, however ours has more a social realism base, meaning that they are quite aesthetically different as ours is more urban, so for example there is a lot more buildings, concrete and graffiti, wherever in 'Call Me By Your Name' it is set in a more idealistic sunny countryside in France.
