SHOOTING DAY ONE

This shooting day took place at my house, using the garden, drive way, kitchen create the short first section of the trailer, which consisted of the party scene. Overall the shoot went well and we were able to gather all of the footage which we needed.  However as shown by the blog post 'change of idea' we decided not to use all of the footage which we gathered here due to the change in plot as by evaluating what we had so far we saw that there was a lack of depth to the plot, meaning that we were left with little ideas to explore, as it covered a limited number of themes. Due to this change we are still able to use this footage gathered, however this will just be the opening scene and will be cut down significantly, as the event of the main character Oli is now less prominent, as the trailer is now going to focus on the development of the relationship between Luke and Oli. However due to this we now need to be careful of which footage we use as Luke was an extra in the party scenes, and is not supposed to have met Oli before when they later meet in the skate park.
