Our AS piece firstly started off as a horror thriller , exploring the uses of water and blood, set in a bathroom. We planned our storyboard to fit with the genre by following conventions, as well as exploring uses of sound and music that would enhance our opening and furthermore create a build in tension that we were hoping for. However once reviewing our final draft we decided that we hadn't stuck close enough to the conventions of thriller/horror , leading a more comical drift in some of our shots. From this it lead to us further developing our piece as we added on more shots on the end giving it a comical twist. This has meant that we could leave in and add some of the original shots, giving hints to the audience as the narrative develops. However I feel that we could have explored more of the comical conventions to develop it more.
